I'm having this odd issue on my Windows 7 laptop where the text looks like it's squished a little bit vertically, so it looks wider than it looks tall. It's kind of a reading issue, is apparent on most apps I use (and there's some inconsistency there compared to other computers) and other computers I'm using don't have this problem.
I can't tell if it's Windows 7, Dell, the screen resolution (which says it's 1920x1080 on a 15.6" screen), or some 3rd party program, but I don't install stuff like that, as far as I know all of the defaults are set.
If I go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts, nothing looks abnormal (though I can't change anything there), then if I click Font Settings, Hide Fonts is checked (fine), Allow fonts to be installed using a shortcut is unchecked (fine), I go through ClearType settings and choose what looks best (hard to tell honestly)... I'd just like to maybe reset everything to default or find some way to troubleshoot this.
