Definitely get out, the idea was good but it just hasn't worked for us in the UK and I don't see why some foreigner should tell us what we can or can't do in our own country.
Some of the silly laws they're trying to inflict on us are beyond belief.

Indeed. I know one silly rule: strange looking vegetables are prohibited.

The EU parliament was inaugurated yesterday with yet more proof the the EU are taking us for a ride:-

Daneil Hannah MEPs Blog said:
You remember the sole and fairly meagre change made when the European Constitution was revived as the Lisbon Treaty? That’s right. The EU’s national emblems were taken out: its flag, anthem, national day and so on.

So guess what happened when the European Parliament met for its first formal session. Uniformed Eurocorps soldiers held a ceremony, in which they paraded about and then solemnly raised the blue and gold flag to the swell of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. (“It’s a sin! Ludwig Van only wrote music!” as Alex memorably puts it in A Clockwork Orange).

Now, Taoiseach, what was that you were saying about how the EU had dropped its plans for militarisation?

I voted out.
France, Republic of Ireland and other countries peoples have had a referendum on closer European ties (ie. Ratifying the Lisbon treaty) and voted NO.

Even with a no vote from the largest EU country (France) the politicians tweak it and in all but name carry on and continue to push the idea forward.
Ireland will be holding another referendum, and I guess will keep holding them until a "Yes" vote is obtained, this is state bullying.

At least in these countries they have had a say in the UK we have been and are, being denied the right to vote for or against. As one politician said "this is to complex an issue for a simple yes or no vote" or as I read it, the UK population is to stupid to understand, so lets do what we think is best as ELECTED officials.

Democracy is dead in the EU, and died a long time ago in the UK.

(Ok i'll get off my soap box now)

Democracy? Where and what is that? The biggest criminals all over the world are in Brussels.
