I had never had a desktop on my own,I just used in another place in an older time.My first computer was a laptop (portables called then) which had Windows 98,after which I upgraded until XP.
Then I bought a newer laptop with XP Home and upgraded for a little to Vista,which I deleted then because it gave lots of BSODs,as it does in my current computer.
After that,4 years ago,I bought a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7,which was perfect for me then.Unfortunately,it was stolen after 1.5 years.
Finally,I bought this one.I think I managed to install Server 2008 (which is unbelievable,because it shares the same kernel as Vista and our little culprit gives BSODs 0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFC00000005,0xFFFFF800014B1CC7,0x0000000000000000,0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) for SP1).SP2 gives different code at second parameter.
Anyway,I see that the best machines I had ever had are the two latest ones.

On the other hand,there are people who believe that learning takes place best in a social setting.They say that a computer cannot provide this.Furthermore,teachers can help students by giving encouragement and praise and they can help solve problems through discussions.
Finally,while computers do have a remarkable place in the classroom and can provide a great deal of information,others feel that the personal contact with a teacher cannot be replaced.





How does it seem? I had to translate everything!

Seems fine to me , i wish computers were around when i was in school , not a fan of teacher student interactions to be honest , especially when they never heard the term mouthwash and are in your face screaming at you .

I can't even think how to use a hunt and peck on a keyboard. It' would take forever to get anything done.

I am also a peck typer (aka) two finger , surprisingly i can move pretty darn fast .


VU , no need to ask "how is it" because it's what you believe , never change based on what others think , do what you feel is right and always be yourself.

I have learned that you only have a few or even just one real friend, many people claim to have a lot of friends but are they truly what one would consider true friends.

I can't tell you how many what i thought were true friends but turned out to be anything but that i eventually cut all ties with .

Throughout life you will know many people that you may consider a friend but very very few will end up being real friends , you know you have a real friend when they are still around through thick and thin and support you through your most difficult times.

As far as kids of today (i'm not a fan to be honest), never cared for the disrespect and it's all about me attitudes of many in todays generation.

Windows 8.1 was something like a punishment to XP,an update to Windows 8 and has a usage of 10.55% because Microsoft convices people to buy it.
Windows 8 was the bad change of Windows 7,being used by 3.52% of the world.
Windows Vista had a bad reception,is 8-9 years old and has a usage of 1.97%.

Thats a big issue , i am also convinced a ton of the malware infected machines that are so prevalent in todays World and flooding the computer help forums can be contributed to youngsters constantly surfing porn sites.

Now,I'm waiting for Vista to dual boot with XP Pro x64 in VMware Workstation.



Unfortunately,as I said,the heavy OS,Vista,won't install to my computer for the reason mentioned (BSOD).

Don't expect me to know every word say. Even though I have got the degrees for English,it doesn't mean that I know every single word. If I gave you a Greek phrase and told you to translate it into English without translator,would you do it? Of course not. But you'll say: "English is an International language! Greek is not!". I know that,but have you ever thought how many words in English have a Greek origin?
