pointer problem, although color problem got fixed

Hey guys, I have installed neverhood on my win 7 and used color fix to fix the color problem. It solved it, but created a new problem. The mouse pointer responds very slowly as I move it. The clay-shape pointer itself wobbles normally, but when i move it... it moves like the cpu is working on 101%!!! what should i do??? please help... i love this game very much...

Forget about patches and fixes. Problem is very simple. Color error is caused somehow by explorer.exe process so killing this process should do the work. This works on Win7, on winXP should too.

Neverhood in Win 7

The best way that I've found for running Neverhood in Win XP, Vista, 7 or 10
is by using a DOSBox/Win95 virtual machine. The process is a little involved
but is well documented at: Installation of Windows in DOSBox. The only change
to the standard setup is to add the Neverhood.iso file to the 2 G-Byte hard drive
image and set the graphics acceleration setting to low or none in the Win95
Control Panel => Display => Settings => Advanced window. Plays beautifully and
can be run directly off a 4 G-Byte USB stick. The DOSBox/Win95 machine is
compatible with a lot of other Win3.1 and Win95 games.
