As an ice-hockey fan I have to say that this penalty shot by Great Britain's Ben O'Connor yesterday in World Championships Division 1 Group B tournament in the Netherlands against South Korea is absolutely the most beautiful penalty shot I have ever seen in top level ice-hockey (watch the replays!).



I'd say give it two three years and we will see Brits playing in the main level, Division 1 they are now is the second highest level and they have shown they are capable.

The main event of the year, the IIHF World Championships starts in 10 days in In Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic, and end on 17th of May with a new World Champion (hopefully Finland :)).
