The quick filter toolbar is really useful. It allows you to quickly filter through your messages, like the search did in version 2.0 - I don't really approve of their new search system so this toolbar is wonderful.

Thunderbird is far superior over Microsoft's Outlook. I love it! The only problem I've is that there's no easy way to backup your profile.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

The only program I've is that there's no easy way to backup your profile.

Go here,

C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles

and backup your profile.

Just had a test run
"The quick filter toolbar is really useful."
I must agree.

Also they have finally resolved the ongoing issue of not being able to set up Pop accounts without doing major workarounds, just run the auto set up & then you now have the option to select Imap or Pop. then click create account
