I am now using sony vaio VGN-CR35S. I have installed Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have almost all drivers installed through window update, but there is TI PCIxx12 integrated flashmedia controller still missing.

I have tried to install the driver downloaded from sony (which could be installed in Win 7 HP 32 bit no problem, I had tried before). It failed in Win 7 HP 64 bit. There is a message something like "the driver is for Vista only".

Anyone has a solution? Please help.

Thank you

Prapan

I've tried what you told, torrentg. I couldn't get it to work. I went to to the "Have disk" step, and when I clicked "Have disk" I went into the system 32 folder. Then I found one .inf file at the bottom, named ieuinit. I opend, and OK. Then a message came up:

"the folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, made sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systmes."

Did I do anything wrong or missing any step?

Also, the driver downloaded from sony's website is an application file which I tried to extract in order to see what inside, but I counldn't. It seems that I didn't get the right .inf file for the driver. Do you know any other way or please elaborate? Anyone knows the way?

Well, for your information, I am just an average PC user.

Thank you,

I have installed a TI PCIxx12 integrated flashmedia controller v. 2.0.0.7. It seems to work OK. The computer now recognizes the driver and the SD card. However, when looking into the SD card it is empty, but in fact there are many pictures (taken via sony camera). Why? I could transfer a file to and from the SD card, but not the pictures coming from camera itself.

Anyone has a solution?

Thanks
