Solved Tie In Between Macrium Boot Disk And System Image

I have a Macrium boot disc (CD) and an Image (External HD). Is the Boot disc only for this particular image ?

Same question with Windows 7 Repair Disc I made long ago. Is it tied to one particular system image ?

No bej. The Macrium boot disk can be used for any Macrium image you create. A similar reply applies to the Win 7 Repair disk. It can be used with any windows image.

No problems. One thing you must do is to test that you can boot from the CD and that it can see your backup image. Sometimes there are problems with bootable CDs, particularly Linux ones. If there is a problem you may need to bite the bullet and create a Windows PE Macrium disk. Unfortunately it involves a 1.7GB download of the WAIK with the free version of Macrium.
