Sorry to hear the bad news Dinesh, I hope you make the right decison and can live with the outcome.

I have been walking Gracie as usual and also I have Ubuntu 10.10 on a disc somewhere.

Bad news: the confirmation didn't happen.
So they have given me three choices:
1. Extend the review for one month, that is till 1st December and prove that I'm fit for that position.
2. Go back on calls as a 1st line tech support rep.
3. Resign.

And I'm thinking which option to choose...

Edit: in case you wonder what's the harm in going with option 1.
Well, there are some a**holes you just can't work with.
Even if I clear the review and get confirmed, this issue is going to arise at the time of my half yearly appraisals as well. If you know what I mean!
I'm just so p*ssed off ATM.

Carl , I personnally would take any job offered , haveing a job no matter how menial would at least give you a bit of self respect and help you on to a better job later , No disrespect to road sweepers but even sweeping up has to be done, what about stacking shelves at a supermarket anything to get you into a working routine

I went to WHSmith today, to see why I am getting given more hours (overtime) and didn't get given a real reason at all; I am going to look for another job in the meantime, and will try and manage my time with my new schedule, hopefully my hours will be completely normal again when my manager returns; we have a cover manager at the moment.

No, what I meant was that I still have mine (still coughing) and Mum and Dad have also got colds. Dogs (like Gracie) cannot get colds.

I walked to my local pub earlier today. Angie walked me back, after the staff had called her I needed help. Two hours in the chilly terrace with strong coffee, stars and neighbors dog, now I could walk without assistance again. Only 12:02 AM, the local closes half past two; I think I know already where I am going to walk...
