Oh well, this is something interesting to think about, but is it because Microsoft guys judge members on this forum and award them? I'm not sure!?!

The badges and such are just bling. I doubt many help here for rep. Sure it's nice, but it's actually just a visual representation that someone thought you did a good job. It's the people that make this forum. It's also just the right mix of serious help, and good fun and humor (I help with the latter ). Well moderated, well designed, well populated with knowledgeable people (and aliens), and well behaved. I have said it before, a rare occurrence, and very admirable. A Guy

Me too. But there's a lot of problem going on with my ISP these days, so I'm not sure which side it is.

Seems like we have been hit by solar flares which has disrupted satellite communication. Ha ha.

Just looked at my stats from the router and my speeds are absolute Cr@p, I know they're rolling out 4G on the tower I use so it may be they're using the long weekend for some work

I'm getting speeds that I haven't seen since the days of 56k Dial-up, I know I'm on a mobile connection but normally get between 4-6 Mb/s on this tower so something is up

Nothing on this side of the pond that I've noticed.

Today I contracted with a new ISP who just started their business. Providing even slower speed than that I use now, but their connection is stable, dont go disconnected every off and on.

The owner of the business came to my home himself, a dynamic young man ..... told me that he was my classmate in elementary school ... as I told my name over phone, he came himself to meet me. I tried very hard to recognize him, but failed

Anyway, within a few days I will get my new connection. For the time being they will provide upto 1 mbps .... later the bandwidth will be increased with the increment of their customer base.
