One of the Hindu calendars ... Marathi (Konkani) calendar you should say.

There are a number of different Hindu Calendars maintained allover India.

But, happy new year

Does that mean you have an excuse for multiple new year parties?

Two actually. One is according to the universal Gregorian calendar and the other is as per the regional calendar.

As per our regional calendar (Bengali), the new year will be on 15th April
And, Hindu calendar term has nothing to do with Hinduism actually ..... it is the set of calenders followed in India (Hindustan) and in some surrounding places. Like Bengali calendar, it is followed in Bangladesh and West Bengal province of India, which is one of the Hindu Calendars.

Today I decided to try out WINKI 3 that is included with my motherboard utilities cd. The directions said to install and boot from disc. Two hours later (after swapping by dvd drive out etc etc) I realized you don't boot from this disc like the instructions said, you still boot from the hard drive. Then it turned out to be a very stripped down linux version.

I called Comcast, listened to a big menu spiel, gave my phone number for verification, more menu crap. Finally got to "Press 4 to speak to a human"...more menu crap. The human finally answered again asked for my phone number, asked what he could do for me today and thanks for calling Comcast. I said my download speed is 2.85Mbs and I want to know why. He was sorry for this and then asked for my address, more verification.

Now he has my account and asked for the last 4 of my Social Security number, I told him and also added the name of my first born child, just in case. this all took about 6 minutes and no help because I said I was fed up in some colorful language which they didn't understand. that was 4 separate "verifications", I think he was next going to ask what color my underwear was.
