I have just finished watching a fantasy(*) film. A woman said sorry and meant it.


(*) Fantasy, fiction = A woman saying she is sorry and ending the sentence there with a period or exclamation mark.

Non-fiction = Woman ending an apology ("sorry" sentence) with a comma and continuing with a second sentence starting with the word "but" as in "I am sorry, but properly speaking...".

I have been walking Gracie this morning as usual and I'm about to have an early lunch as I have to sign-on this afternoon. Also I saw this Saab 900 Turbo earlier.

Today we woke up to freezing rain & 1/8 of an inch of ice coating everything, the road, the car, etc. Schools are closed, the college is on a 2 hr delay which gets me out of my Algebra class today & 2 bonus cups of coffee. Still have a class at 11 though. The temp is above freezing now & hopefully the roads will be in decent shape by then.

I signed-on OK and I brought game (Grand Prix Legends) for £1.50 from a charity shop. I will see if works, if not I will sell it on ebay.

So after heading to school at 10:30, I find out that the campus is closed till 12. Normally I would have gone to the college website to see about up to the minute delays/closings. However, the college website has been down all weekend & still isn't up & running this morning, which means we can't see any closing info OR access our E Mail. The ice is melting, but slowly...it's 34 out. What a great way to start the week...:sarc:
