Lol! Well today I feel terrible as my sinuses are blocked and I sound like a croaky frog. However, I have just been giggling about the whole tea and coffee comments. I drink tea generally morning, noon and night as I don't like coffee.

Boo unfortunately I have to disagree, where we come from its breakfast, dinner, tea and supper. I can also back up this theory as Hannah has to take in dinner money.

likewise angie, thats how it goes the further north you get, i lived in the midlands (shropshire) for 14 years before cornwall,
then Scotland for my childhood, so it has always been breakfast, dinner, tea and supper for me too.

in Cornwall they call brew time (when at work) crib, and some places call it snap,
being a northener i call it brew time

AHA! So, that's the origin of the word as used here in the mining industry! Over here, crib is any meal eaten at work, and the lunchroom is called the crib room. I've learnt something today.

The Cornish miners left quite a legacy here.

i still enjoy haggis from time to time, no one else in the house likes it so i get it to myself

there are only about two working mines left in cornwall, and one is a museum i think,
another one is "scran" but thats a devon word i think,
