Today, I installed foobar2000. I'll always use Mediamonkey Gold for managing my mp3 players, and grabbing podcasts, but foobar is great for playback on the PC.

Today I have my standard work day of 8 - 4:30, good thing about today is my girl is picking me up from work to go to lunch together

Tonight is our "make up" night for my bean bag league. We had a few weeks were one or more of the teams we were supposed to play didn't show, so we have to play them tonight. Then next week is the end of season tournament where we could potentially win around 400 bucks! Can't wait

o0o0o.. through proxies? To get around a web filter? If you are doing this without their knowledge (which I hope isnt the case since you mentioned them in the post), I'd stop. Proxies are very, very easy for basically any IT admin to notice. We don't allow them in my company, in fact, my co-worker who has been here longer than me did say someone was pretty much walked out of the building for it.

All I would suggest, is let them know. Explain what sevenforums is and how much you contribute/learn from it. I am sure they can add specific websites to the exceptions list, that way, you can browse here freely and not worry about anything.

By saying your IT team has become nice to you, was that sarcasm meaning they BLOCKED the site? And then you had to find a way around the block (proxies)? Or did they let you know about the proxies and are OK with it?

There are many people in the office who access websites thru proxies. But by default, only a few websites like gsmarena.com or three.com and allowed. All other websites are blocked. Earlier, I could not login to SF, I could only see it as a guest. Now I dont know what they did and I m able to login and post as well. Your idea about putting this site to the whitelist is good but since a windows 7 forum has nothing to do with mobile broadband, they wont consider it.
