Today, after school, I had an appointment with an optrometrist for eye-screening. He put some drops in my eyes, which made my vision blurry. It also widened my pupils (temporarily) so he could take a picture of my eye. The pictures had such a bright flash, it burnt into my eye for a few minutes, before doing it 4 times again. Going back home, my pupils were still wide open, everything glaring, even though there was 100% could cover. I told my sisters friends to stare at my eyes, they thought I was on drugs! What a hectic time!

LilDomil....The doc was supposed to give you some sunglasses to wear to get safely home again.. then you were supposed to stay OUT of the sun for the rest of the day.. stay away from bright lighting.. that's what my eye doc does when he dilates my eyes.. to look for any problems..
He actually prefers to have a friend drive me instead of me driving at all after the dilation.
YES your pupil is the widest it will be after those drops .
Next time be sure to take your sunglasses to wear driving home .

I've been to refresh my first aid training today. I have to do this every 12 months for work. Quite good fun attempting to resuscitate a plastic doll and dressing imaginary wounds etc.
Also, when doing CPR we were singing the first verse of Nelly The Elephant. It's 100 BPM and 30 beats long. Occurred to me that it would be quite nice being brought back from the brink of the abyss by someone singing an old fashioned comic song.
