The engineer did come last Saturday and my PC has to be collected, so they can fix it, sometime on this Wednesday 24/11/10. It is the power supply. I know it is long-winded, but it is cover by extended warranty.

If they cannot fix I do have a right to replace it after 6 weeks (in vouchers or something similar).

I will ring PC World next Monday for an update.

Today I spent approx 4 hours cleaning out the Sister-in-Law's Laptop. It had a Trojan. Then I went to work and spent 3 hours configuring a new CAD Workstation (Dell Precision T7500) for one of my users who needs it first thing in the morning. I then came home and spent over an hour shoveling snow from the Driveway, sidewalks, and steps. And now I relaxing checking out my favorite Forum for the rest of the evening.

sorry to hear that dinesh ,its very early days for your girlfriend coming to terms with the loss of her mum, when people are upset they tend to take it out on those they love, if you can keep it in mind that is whats happening it will help you handle it better and maybe row less, work stress is something i know little about but will be easier to deal with if things are better between you and your girlfriend.

These type of occurrences usually end up with a period of 24-48 hours of cold shoulder and silence.
