Surprisingly good day.
Until I got my mower out of the shed for the first time this year....
Let's just say, I don't think it'll handle the full throttle that it's on now for very long.
I hope it blows up. Gives me a reason to get a new one.

I had to use WD-40 just to get the blade unstuck.
Mowing is not my forte.

Had an incident at work about 10 minutes after I got there this morning.
I ended up being a maintainence person for a few hours.....was not fun.
Up in the buildings rafters, trying to empty something before it fell.....
...someone decided they needed to drive the forklift into a rack, and almost took the whole thing down.

Was quite the interesting day.

Finishing University today for the April holidays. Being a third year, it means I've finished lectures/labs/coursework, handed my dissertation project in, and all I have now is exams in about 4 or 5 weeks, then graduation in July

It felt so good handing this in after working on it solidly for 20 weeks.

Finishing University today for the April holidays. Being a third year, it means I've finished lectures/labs/coursework, handed my dissertation project in, and all I have now is exams in about 4 or 5 weeks, then graduation in July

It felt so good handing this in after working on it solidly for 20 weeks.

Today... Well yesterday...

I woke up at 5:00am, drove 97.5 miles into some beautiful locations to finally reach a Research Facility called "IVIC" (Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Investigations)

The reason? 5 years ago, my grandfather died, 1 year after that, my aunt started to show some really weird behavior, 2 years later, my aunt is diagnosed, she has a DNA mutation... Right now i'm in a little bit of a paradox, kind of similar to the Schrödinger's Cat... I may or may not have Huntington's Disease, for those of you who haven't heard or read about it, here's some info: Huntington's disease - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Long story short, a Doc took a blood sample from me, and now i have to wait 6 ~ 8 weeks to know the results.. I too have a 50% chance of having this disease, so it's like flipping a coin...

I have to figure out a way to distract myself or i'll go crazy i mean, the waiting will kill me... So i may start by asking out the girl i like right now...

I will be updating my status from now and then... Hopefully the results will be negative... We'll have to wait

Fingers crossed you get a negative result Punkster and it's good that you are getting the test it's better to know early either way at least then you are prepared.
