Today I'm going to get some "late Christmas presents". Only half day at office, then home to finally install the new home cinema system to our living room. So I spend my afternoon with misters Onkyo, Yamaha, Harman Kardon etc. Tools, HDMI and optical cables and about 30 meters (100 feet) speaker cable already waiting.

Am I a little bit pervert? I'll enjoy setting up the system almost as much as using it when it's ready. I'm really going to enjoy it... Very much so!

Went through that the week before Christmas. 18-24 inches of the white stuff. Then it rained a few days later, melted it all, and left a huge mess.

I spent 4 years stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska area. Warm is relative. It's pretty bad when you are outside in jeans and a T-shirt at 30 degrees F

Well we've got the white stuff thick and fast today so I've not been outside, to dangerous for me to try and walk in it and if it keeps on my daughter wont be able to get to the doctors tomorrow for the baby's first injections, which I believe contain the one for Whooping cough and her next door neighbours have that at the moment.

Were in one hell of a cold snap on the east coast (US)...it was down to 10F today while on Grandfather Mountain it was -30!!!

This is just in Western North Carolina mind you...I checked the Forecast Channel on the Wii and it said the South Pole was warmer:shock:
