Too high resolution -- I'm an idiot

I don't know hardly anything about computers and I was playing around with my settings, and being the stupid small child I am, I decided to ramp up the resolution to the highest setting. I am typing this in safe mode, because when I try to start it up normally, it says "not support." I am working off a 20" vizio TV, and my computer model is a brand new inspiron 560. The main thing I'm trying to do here is just get in to the settings for normal mode and change the resolution back while still in safe mode.

Right click on the desktop and go to "Screen Resolution".

Hello Mennokinght, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition, you can boot into the Advanced Boot Options screen and select the Enable Low Resolution Video (640 X 480) option to startup Windows 7 in this, then change your screen resolution back to the native resolution.

Glad you got it fixed. You should always set your resolution to the native resolution of the monitor.
