I have Toshiba Satellite L745-S4210 laptop, Windows 7 64 bit, and I am having issue with a sound on it. It all started a few weeks ago whenever i start watching movies or listening to music, my sound turns off itself and until i restart the laptop it does not come on. I have checked if my drivers are up to date, i have re-installed sound drivers but still no help. All it says on my devices is HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE, it does not specify which one it is. Whenever this happens I have opened sound management and sound bars are showing that there is sound but there is nothing coming out of my speakers. Now i have found online that there is a sound card USB driver, how do I choose the correct one for my computer?

Thank you for your time

"High Definition Audio Device, in most cases, is the default generic, basic function Windows installed sound driver. It is not the actual sound driver. Go to Toshiba and download and install the correct sound driver, as the first step.
