Toshiba P205-6237 screen went black

I did a custom/clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and now the screen is black. An external monitor works but I can't get the laptop lcd to come on... HELP!

Hi cbodie71, welcome to the forums

It may be something as simple as pressing the 'FN' button followed by an F key to activate the screen.

   Note

It'll have a monitor/screen icon on it
