Worth trying that, too, but I have a feeling Compatibility mode will be AHCI...

ok .. all done .. took me sometime to fix boot now im on ... testing in progress
should i do sth else ?

here is what happened ..
did all what u told me to do ..
tested the laptop all fine all good it was great for more than 4 hours ..
after that i installed the NVIDIA graphic card card driver version 295 . 2 minutes later the laptop got frozen again =(

Additionally, run some hardware checks.

  • Use FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net to test the graphics card GPU. Let it run until the GPU temperatures even out or until the GPU temperatures reach a dangerous level (you can find the max temperature for your card on either the nVidia or AMD sites; if you are not sure, ask us). The goal is to get a steady temperature, find out if the GPU is overheating, or to see if there are any artifacts present in the test itself: look for strange pixelated patterns on the screen or colors that do not look like they belong. Then use the |MG| Video Memory Stress Test 1.7.116 Download to test your graphics card memory. Let the memory test run for at least seven passes; the more the better.
    
    
  • Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html to determine any hardware problems. Run all three tests for a few hours each. If you get errors, stop the test and post back here.

OMG !! Its like a surgery .. ok i will give it a try ..
ok .. i already did a system restore to the point before installing the graphic card driver but yet after that i restarted the laptop and the laptop did freeze a couple of times ..

about the tests .. should i do them in an order sequence ? or as u arranged them or something else .?

The Question Is .. :

WHAT IF THE LAPTOP GOT FROZEN DURING ONE OF THE TESTS ?
WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

If it freezes during one of the tests, report what temperature you see at the time of the freeze and how long the test had been going if possible. Leave all windows in positions so you can see the clock to get an estimate of the time the test ran for.


Also, Dave76 pointed out that the nVidia drivers from nVidia may not be the best drivers for your system. For laptops, you want to use only the drivers provided by the vendor which in your case is Toshiba. Graphics drivers for laptops are designed to work with the laptop power schemes, whereas the nVidia drivers from nVidia may not work with the power scheme and can cause instability/freezing.

When you install the nVidia drivers from Toshiba:

1. Download the drivers you want for your display card(s)
2. Click Start Menu
3. Click Control Panel
4. Click Uninstall a program
5. For NVIDIA:
   • Uninstall the NVIDIA Graphics Driver (this should uninstall all NVIDIA software and drivers)
   • Restart your computer
   • Make sure NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver, NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player, NVIDIA HD Audio Driver, and NVIDIA PhysX System Software are not still listed under Uninstall a program through Control Panel
   • If any remain of the above, uninstall one at a time
   • If asked to restart after uninstalling any of the above, do so, and continue uninstalling any remaining NVIDIA items until all are removed
6. Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
7. Install the driver you selected for the display cards once Windows starts

Dave76 also mentioned another good test to run for the system, but I do not want to give you too much at once, so we'll do that test after you have completed the previous tests I mentioned.

i started with real temp all looked fine then i did the real temp test and when it finished it freezed ..

i think its anormal state right ?

i did the furmark test .. all looked normally after 10 min. it freezed again

i did the the VMT test but it keep stoping before finishing the the first pass

i did also the intelburn test ... i tested it on high stress level and suddenly the laptop restarted by it self .. here is an image before it restarted ..

CPU and motherboard are a bit hot, but still below maximum specs.

Run an OCCT test of your CPU. See what the output is.


Also, were these with the Toshiba nVidia drivers installed?

yes they were ..

i downloaded every driver from toshiba.com
all of them are installed .. then i started the tests

If you could supply screenshots of the output from the OCCT test and any logs it generates, that would be awesome.

all done i did the test .. it ran for 50 sec. then error pop up and freezed ..

Everything looks pretty good. Here is what I would recommend as a troubleshooting step:

• Go into Start Menu...
  
  
• Type "msconfig" without quotes into the Search programs and files and press Enter...
  
  
• Click on the Boot tab...
  
  
• Change the number of processors to 1.

Post back whether your system is then stable.

If that allows the system to be stable, try different values up to the full number and see when it stops being stable.

will i have to replace a piece like motherboard for example ?

I am trying to determine if it might be a CPU problem. Even if the steps I gave resolve the problem, that would indicate either the CPU or motherboard, though. It is difficult to know which.

I am fairly sure this is hardware related.
