Toshiba Laptop Hdmi Issues/Problems
Hi i have a toshiba t130-11h its about 3/4 years old not that this should matter. My problem is the hdmi cable so heres a list of things that i've tried and it does. Also about a 1 or 2 years ago i used this laptop to a hdmi display and it worked 100% fine when in windows but on boot sometimes it still used to the do green boot thing its doing now.
- Displays on tv screen on startup/boot but is in green and is pixely.
- Tried updating and installing the display drivers from intel, it fails to install and just tell me that i need to get the drivers from the manufacturer.
- Using the hdmi while its plugged in via power this how resolved some peoples hdmi problems but not mine.
- People say to try to see if the hdmi is enable from the bios but the bios has a password on it i dont know what this password is and i've tried getting rid of this password by clearing the cmos but cant seem to find that when i open it up.
- ^^ This should not be a problem since it displays on boot but only on boot and not when you get into windows.
- Tried all 3 safe modes i get absolute no display.
- On one of my monitors it goes black and then it flickers and goes to no signal again then after that it goes back to black and detects it again and so on and it keeps doing this intill i unplug the hdmi.
Any help or advice is welcome.
Thanks, Luke.
EDIT: Managed to remove bios password now but cant see anything at all about hdmi and the only display thing is to switch between "auto-selected" and "system lcd only" so nothing handy here.
