Well, my problem is I can't get my computer to recognize my Micro SD adapter, which I have tried on other computer and worked properly, so I suppose the real trouble is my laptop. When I insert it, nothing happens at all, and just once I've pulled it out, a message pops saying it can't recognize the device (and this only happens sometimes).

I have a Toshiba Satellite T135-SP2909R and my OS is Win 7 (not upgraded from Vista, it's always had it), I have already downloaded the driver from the Toshiba webpage and from other sites, but it won't work either. When I run it, it says Realtek Card Reader 6.1.7100.30101 (perhaps it's the wrong one?). Also, someone told me it could be the bios, but I really don't know what that means.

That's mainly the problem, I'll appreciate any suggestion about what could I do :)

Hello anaular and welcome to Seven Forums.

From what you've described, it sounds like your micro SD adapter isn't being recognized. This could be a driver problem. If you open Device Manager (start menu > right click computer > manage > device management in left panel) do you see any yellow or red warning symbols? If so you could right click and then try to update the driver(s). It's also possible that the adapter is a hidden device.
