Toshipa L550-00P Laptop will not boot suddenly

I was cleaning up my wife's laptop and installed a defragger from CNET and while in that program the screen went blank and now it wont restart - when I push the On button nothing happens. I'm in real sh...t, I broke HER computer.

It's working OK now. I unplugged it from surge protect bar and plugged in another one and voila, it booted up. I also deleted the free defrag program, just in case.

It has the valuable feature of running a defrag with full Disk Check in Boot mode so that file system is checked and System files can be defragged which are not reached from the OS. First test your HD SMART status with CrystalDiskInfo - Software.

Then before doing the Boot Defrag with Disk Check, run CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download both Run Cleaner button, and Registry tab with back-up selected.

THis will test the HD, clean and optimize it perfectly.
