Solved Touch screen no longer works

I recently updated the display driver - AMD ATI Mobility Radeon for Dell desktop. While I don't really use the touch screen except a tap to log on, I just want to make sure not having that feature isn't a problem for the system. Thanks.

For what I know (I may be wrong) win 7 doesn't have native support for touch screen.
Your Dell probably had a touch screen driver that was replaced with the update you did.
Use Windows restore to move back. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery

Thanks for info. I don't really use it - my main concern was whether it was doing anything "bad" to system. Doesn't sound like it from what I read in your post. Thanks again.

Perhaps it has to be set up again since you changed the driver. I don't know what driver you used but you should only use a driver from Dell.

I doubt not having touch screen affects anything else.

Out of curiosity, did you try to re-enable it?
