There is more to that just the motherboard being the same everyone knows that anyways. I think Brink & Dell would get if I said how. I don't really care what dell thinks now, but I do care what Brink thinks. Brink is really a great person. I also don't want several thousands people at me for Microsoft & dell blocking the slp key and having everyone change to the OEM key on the back of their computers.

Sold by Amazon themselves. Amazon wouldn't sell if it violates the EULA, I am not talking about marketplaces sellers.

The installed license is of a type which is ONLY valid on machines which were pre-installed at the factory with the OS - the BIOS date for this machine is a year before Windows 7 was released, so the machine could not possibly have shipped with Win7 installed. The SLIC table showing in the report is also wrong, as it doesn't match the rest of the BIOS - and claims to be Win7 compliant.

We should not blame Pantz, we don't know the full story. He may of not known the system is not legit. It actually happen to me when I had windows 98se, didn't even know a thing about the OEM rules at that time.

We are just observing the logs and what they indicate. They indicated counterfeit for the reasons Noel and I have posted.

We have no idea who did what.
Remember that Microsoft doesn't concern it's self on who did what. Microsoft doesn't care about all the stories.
Microsoft looks at the logs and indicates genuine or counterfeit....

The logs allow experts like Noel to give reason why a install is genuine or counterfeit.

Hello Everyone This is a fun Thread..... LOL here is what i am planning to do,

1 take the HD out of the OLD DELL LAPTOP (small 120 Gig HD )

2 once i get the rest of my Parts... ( in a week or two ) i will assemble the NEW Backup System and use the OLD DELLS HD and install a copy of windows 7 X 64 on that OLD DELL HD ( i have one thats on a Bootable Flash drive )

3. i have a Genuine Copies of Window 7 Pro that i Got as Student in 2012 , that i have not USED...

4. i can Try to use the OEM From the OLD HD to try and Activate windows, ( as this thread says probably wont work )

4B. Try to use the KEY from the System that i sold. to see if that will Activate the new OS

5. if push come to shove just use one of the KEY that i have,

and just to make thing a little FUN here is MY MAIN SYSTEM MGADiag LOL

Pantz, some of stuff you are doing is not allowed to be talked about here. Since, you claim you have other keys that I assume are legit. I recommend using those keys. That all I can say on this thread. I am unsubscribing before a put my foot into my mouth, which I may already have done.

It's nothing you said Pantz. It was your installation that proved to break the Microsoft EULA.

If you enter a valid key during the installation, there is nothing wrong.
I encourage members who learn that their installation is invalid to correct it. It sounds to me as though you are going to do just that.

Your thread topic : Transfering OS KEY to new Build has been answered, yes?
I think it has, so I'll drop out of further discussion.

lessons learned:when ever you buy new windows os run MGAdiag tool and verify ourself the genuinees.
