My daughter got six good years, four of them as a full-time college student, out of her laptop. Not easy to do. But it's time to get a new one, and one way she'd like to save money is to move her perfectly good copy of Office 2007 to the new laptop.
She'd purchased a three-seat student edition, and it has run on three computers. So I understand that she needs to uninstall it from the old laptop, and then likely have to use phone activation after installing on the new one - correct?
That's the easy part.
Here's the hard part. She doesn't seem to know what she did with the installation disk(s).
Am I correct in saying that any Office 2007 installation disk will get it installed on her computer, and then her license key, activated, will have her up and running?
Better still, can I just find an ISO of an installation disk and install from that?
Any other tips/suggestions?
