Trouble connecting wifi portege z835 p-330

I have just bought a new laptop and cannot connect to my wireless network. The wired one works fine. However, I need the wireless to work at home. Any help?

Does your laptop have an on/off wireless switch on the side? A combination of FN + F2 keys (depending on the manufacturer)?

Are you using a 3rd party wireless manager to connect or your Windows native WLAN Auto config?

You may try to manually connect your laptop to your SSID (wireless network name).
