I'm trying to install a drive so that i can use an FTDI made cable that converts a TTL data port to a RS232 data. But i've run into trouble. when i install it it comes up in my hardware manager as a Com3 which is good but I'm lacking a com1 and an LPT1 which i assume i need. The FTDI guys say i need to check my BIOs settings to make sure my mother board ports are enabled. I'm pretty new to computers and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well welcome to seven forums. Lets first start with filling in your system specs. This will help for starters. Thanks. Fabe usercp 1.png
