Solved Trouble withNetwork adapters. Error code 31

My wireless internet will not connect at all. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545. Using an Ethernet cable works fine, but the wireless alltogether doesnt work. I get an error code 31 with my wireless adapters. - Austin

Have you tried eiyther downloading and installing the latest driver or using the update driver featurre in the device manager?

that work for about an hour but when i opened it back up after charging the internet wouldn't connect and i don't have any available connections

hahaha nevermind. turns out the wireless on/off switch on the laptop was off. but the driver did need reinstalled so thank you very much

I have the exact same problem. Only that updating the driver does not help, and I've tried uninstalling that driver and tried a dozen different drivers. All return the same code error 31, the device cannot load the required drivers. I reinstalled W7 and it still occurs. I'm afraid it might be a hardware related issue. Please, Lords of all that is IT, help me.
