Trying to install Win 7, but Nero 7 is blocking me

I am finally getting around to installing Win7 on my computer. I ran the compatibility program. The program told me to uninstall Nero 7. Easy nuf. Except that in five tries so far running Nero through the uninstaller has crapped out on me times.

Ideas?

Try uninstalling with Revouintaller.

If you are doing a Upgrade than Yes Try to get Nero off..
Here is also a Tutorial of how to Upgrade with Windows 7

But if you are doing a Clean install, (which you can with an Upgrade Disk) You could just backup your data, then boot from the disk and install that way..(and that will get rid of Nero and everything else for that matter)

Nero has a special uninstaller tool you can get from their site. The link to Nero 8 General Tool is below, you might try that.
