Solved Trying to organise music folder

I am trying to organise/rearrange the the folders and files in the folder C:\Users\Charlie\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\. After moving the music files into the correct folders and deleting the incorrect folders, I am finding that the incorrect folders, together with their contents, are reverting to the way they were e.g. I have some sub folders and enclosed files in a folder named C:\Users\Charlie\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Compilations which I would like to move to a different folder called C:\Users\Charlie\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Various Artists. After moving the files and deleting "Compilations", the deleted folder comes back and the moved music files return to that folder (hope this makes sense). I have also attempted to rename some sub folders but the same thing happens i.e. they return to their original name.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

This is happening because iTunes, by default, stores all music in its sub directories by Artist name/Album Name.

So no matter how many times you change the files / folder construction, it will always reset it to the way it believes it should be stored.

Below is the setting that actually shows / sets itunes to store the music this way, if you turn of the consolidation it will stop doing it. However whenever you RIP a cd, it will automatically store it in it's default way.
