turning on the fluorescent tube light wakes my pc from sleep

i have bizzarre issue

when my pc is in sleep mode and i turn on the fluorescent tube light my pc wakes up from sleep .
the pc is from a seperate power board on the wall and the on/off button of the fluorescent button is on seperate power board .. both are 1 meter apart on the wall.

how is it possible ?

Maybe your pc fancies the fluorescent tube.

Fluorescent tubes usually flicker when starting & this causes minor voltages surges in the power supply, that are probably being picked up by your pc as a key stroke & awakening. Are the power boards connected to the one power outlet on the wall. If they are try plugging one or the other into a different outlet, preferably in another room.
If that fails you it would be best to use another form of lighting.
