After using MCE for a couple of years, first on Windows XP MCE and recently switched to Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit), I think it’s time to switch to digital TV. Have been watching analog all this time because the only provider I can choose is UPC, they use a different encoding so you have to use their set-top box on top of a beautiful HTPC...%$#$
Without any other options left I have decided to get one of these set-top boxes and here comes my problem, I know you could order a ir-blaster from OrigenAE in the past but I can't find that piece of hardware anymore. Also OrigenAE doesn't sell it anymore. So I need a other solution, I have found a card from Hauppauge which includes a ir-blaster but that is PCIe and I only have PCI slots left so that isn't an option either.
Does anyone here have some tips or solutions for me? TNX
