I recently wiped out my w7 and reinstalled it due to a nasty little keylogger. I had W7 x64, but when i wiped it out i accidentaly put W7 x32 on it.

My speed tests on Speedtest.net was 27mbps..but now im only running 12mbps. I have PC Pitstop, Optimize. But still no good. Does x32 have a limit? My connection is cox with a max 27mbps.

What can i do? Yes i do clean my cookies and temp.

I'd probably go back to 64-Bit. ;)

If you don't want to do that, see if you can find an updated NIC driver. All the Win7 drivers I've used are pretty solid, but sometimes there is a better option from the manufacturer. This is particularly true for onboard MB hardware such as NICs. :)

When I'm in that position I always try and remind myself that it will never be easier than right now. If you're still having the problem two months down the road you'll just have MORE stuff to re-do.

Good luck, whatever you decide. :)
