Two graphics adapters according to Win 7

Well, I tried to play a game the other day, and when I went to the graphics settings in its menu, it say my adapter was Intel HD graphics. Well I knew this wasn't right as the whole reason I bought the laptop (Dell Inspiron 15R Gen 2) was because it had dedicated graphics. Well, sure enough I go to the system info and it says "Intel graphics", and when I go to device manager, it shows both my Nvidia card and Intel graphics adapters. Not quite sure what is going on. Hi there ... Looks as if you have Duel Graphics ... That is nothing to worry about switches from one to the other when needed ..

So is the info on the system info incorrect then? I would still think that it would show more than 64MB of dedicated memory. I'll turn the game up to max though and see if it has any issues. If that's the case, its the first I've heard of it... of course that doesn't mean anything, haha. Obviously I know of SLI and Crossfire, but I wasn't aware that integrated and dedicated graphics could work together. My Gen 1 15R has only an ATI.

This isn't a custom SLI or Crossfire setup by the way. It's one or the other but not both. My ASUS Laptop has an A-10 APU that has a CPU and VPU in it. On battery and when running non video intensive programs it can run on the AMD Radeon® HD 7660G that's in the APU. If I'm gaming it can switch to a dedicated 7670M that has 1GB of dedicated DDR3. I can manually set what programs use what video chip with software or let the laptop decide on its own. The Intel half of your dual setup may be in your processor or built into the motherboard chip-set. It's there so its made us of.
