Typing issue

Am on holidays right now and have had a little issue crop up with typing mails to replies in this forum etc etc
The problem is that I start typing something only suddenly find that I am typing half way back in the line I am in.
For example it might look like this:

"I am going to go to the doesn't look promising castles today but the weather"

Have not had this issues before and have tried the usual stuff like sfc chkdsk with switches. MBAM Superantispyware ADW Cleaner and of course my Kaspersky AV but apart from a few PUP's that come up nothing seems to help - it just happened in the type line.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not sure what your post means nor do I understand it completely, but try just a simple reboot or shut down and boot.
See if that cleans things up. Sometimes memory being used up can cause typing problems.

Could you give us a clue what computer you are having this problem with.

Is it when you are using a laptop and not your usual desktop? If so perhaps the heel of your hand accidently touches the touch pad?

As you are on holidays I assume you are talking about a laptop computer.

Could the problem be the touch pad. When you are typing it's causing vibrations that are activating the mouse pad & the cursor is moving about to where the mouse pointer is.

Just a thought, as I don't have a laptop so I am probably on the wrong track.

Ok mate I think you have the one thing I did not think about - that I used the machine with the touchpad enabled once after arriving in the UK for a quick access. I will go into the BIOS and turn the darn thing off again as I always use a Blu tooth mouse and this is the laptop (Asus P2520LA) that I use for travel and at work.

Jack this is what I was giving as an example the underlined aprt should be at the end of the post.

I do agree with others it does appear to be a touch pad problem. It's worth checking and it's free to do so.
You might have to turn touch pad on and then off. Then reboot.

 

[Wandering one]

Wife had this sort of problem once. Wireless rodent and every time a wireless outdoor thermometer updated (5 min intervals ) the pointer went across the screen. Trying to work a budget spread sheet really had her po'd.
