Ultra VNC unresponsive mouse problem

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit on both my laptop and desktop because I changed out their hard drives. Prior to this I had Ultra VNC on each of them, and it worked without a hitch. However, now that I have installed them on my new system, they both seem to be running into the same problem.

When I connect to either of the computers, I can see everything on the screen just fine, but the mouse is unresponsive. I'm not sure if it's a problem in the settings with the viewer or with the server. I have no recollection of what settings I had on my system prior to the clean installation, I just know they used to work.

I'm not sure if this is a common problem and I'm just missing a checkbox/setting, or if I if is something bigger. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, in the server options there is a setting for allow viewer input.

Right click the icon running in the notification icon area, on the vnc server, select admin properties, there is an option for disable viewer input under keyboard and mouse options. Make sure this isn't checked.

Let me know how you go with that.

Nothing under the keyboard and mouse options is checked. This picture is how everything is set up on both computers as of when I posted this.

On the normal properties area check the following boxes ( unless they are already checked)

- Poll Full Screen
-System HookDll
-Low Accuracy

Also make sure you didn't set the view only password the same as the vnc password.

If that does not work use the following guide found here
