Hi all, new user here

A little problem I have been having lately in windows 7, which is getting really annoying!

I have a desktop and a laptop, both on the same network and running windows 7.

Imagine I'm transferring a large file or even streaming a video from the desktop to the laptop. The desktop is wired into my home connection, the laptop uses wireless.

At some point, normally after the activity has finished, the desktop will be unable to connect to the internet. -I have tried to restart the network adapter on the desktop and it will not disable

It results in me having to restart the desktop and I'm presented with closing network connections, which it finally does after some time.

Has anyone else experienced this or able to give any advice?
