Solved Unable to create the folder "New folder" system error 65535

Whenever I try to create new folder in my one of my system drives it is displaying "Unable to create the folder "new folder"". File system error(65535). Previously I was able to create/delete files.
Now every thing i want to do is getting failed (create/delete/modify).

I would try a scan with MalwareBytes Antimalware. A couple of years ago I had something similar where I could not delete any files using Explorer. MBAM picked up the registry hack and fixed it.

The free version works just fine for scanning. A "Threat Scan" should be enough to pick if off if it's a Registry nuisance.

thank you for your reply. I tried MalwareBytes Antimalware and it did found malware. I cleaned it up but I still get the same error when I try to make folder. Do you have any more suggestions??

Did you reboot after the cleanup? The Registry is held in memory. If it is changed, the change doesn't take effect until you log off or reboot.

I did some research on the internet, and found the solution. If anyone has the same problem, here is how I solved it :

Open a command prompt window by going to Start, then selecting Run. Type in 'cmd' (no quotes) and hit enter. Type in 'chkdsk : /f' depending on the drive you want to scan. So if I wanted to do my C drive it'd be 'chkdsk c: /f'. It'll scan the disk, locate any bad sectors and mark them as unusable. You shouldn't get the error after that.
