Hello,

I just recently built a new PC and have been trying to solve my sound issue for about a full day now. I have installed the latest Realtek drivers from their site (R2.63) and checked my BIOS to ensure that my audio is enabled. I also ran services.msc to double-check that all of the audio services and their dependencies are up and running. I also tried installing the drivers through the disc that came with my motherboard but the "Audio" portion is not clickable:

My motherboard model is an MSI P67A-G43. Everything that I can possibly install with the disc has already been installed. I am completely out of ideas so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I took your suggestion and downloaded all of the drivers. However, I was unable to install two of them, the TPM driver and the Rapid Storage Technology driver. The contents of each driver:

TPM:

RST:

I have tried clicking the .exe files as well as look over the readme file included. However, the readme requires the use of the .exe files -_- I tried both .exe files and received the same message: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." Any suggestions on where to put the contents of the TPM driver and what to do with the executables?

only one I have right now is to try manually removing them all from the device manager and let the system do another detection on the device.
Also some bios's support multiple audio codecs, make sure the bios is set to use the realtek audio device.

A live CD? I tried the CD that came with the motherboard, but the audio button (and a few other buttons) is not clickable. I posted an SS in my original post. I also tried installing everything else on the CD, but also installed drivers from the motherboard website, AND the Realtek website. I'm thinking there might be some sort of interference with all of the random drivers I have installed over a period of about 3 days x[

btw when I try right-clicking the speaker and click "Playback devices", nothing shows up but a message saying "No audio devices are installed." However, the 4 "High Definition Audio Device" (1st pic posted in my last post) show up in the Device Manager under "Sound, video, and game controllers". idk when and how this happened -_-
