I have a recording studio with several 32 bit audio drivers. Usually not a problem to have 32 bit devices or drivers in Win 7 64 bit.

I would suspect a problem with the sound card more than the drivers. PCI suggests old hardware. The motherboard you have is a new board and the PCI sockets on most new boards of this type are actually "bridged" from the PCIe bus and not a true PCI slot. This can cause problems with some PCI devices.

The actual reason for using a low cost sound card is just to play my speaker and headphones at the same time...i know the real tek drivers are very good, but here either i can use speakers or the headphones, which is a biggest drawbak for me.....
neways thank you soo much for your help...i really appreciated the time you spent understanding my issue and working on it.....god bless you

Most RealTek HD Audio Managers have the option to have both at the same time.

Here is a picture of my RealTek HD Audio Manager. Clicking on "Device Advanced Settings" is where the option is located.

I am confused as to the need for speakers and headphones at the same time, but I would say this is a 64-bit driver issue and if the card manufacturer's website is not offering a 64-bit driver that is a bad sign.

Most cheap sound cards are just a generic model, so I would dig deeper and use the model number printed on the actual card as your guide or run a 3rd party app like Speccy from piriform and see if it can determine what it model it IS.

From the pic, guessing that is a CM-4512? Very likely a AC97 based audio card any way.

Maybe this driver will work? [circa 2009]

Download Realtek AC97 Audio Driver 6.0.1.6303 for Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64 bit, Windows 7, Windows 7 64 bit
