Solved unable to Logon, no logon servers available to service the logon

Hi everyone,

iv acquired an old laptop from my company. its all set up with their own logon for windows 7, now i tried to logon with my company login details and i get the error message ' no logon servers available to service the logon request' so basically what i want to know, is if there is a way to reset the laptop to factory settings?

i have tried to get into the BIOS but after pressing f10 i get the screen in the picture, it doesnt let me type anything in.

any ideas? iv read i might have to move the password jumper but thats a last resort if possible?

A lot of Company devices will be locked from the Bios level or even lower, and without the password you will not be able to access the bios - you need to liaise with the former owners to unlock these systems,

The Manufacturers of the laptop or a local technician might be able to do the unlock but will require paperwork for proof of ownership before they can proceed, (This is to protect them it's not any suggestion of your ownership).

The login on the system will need a physical connection Wired or wireless to complete login, there may also be a licence server connection required in some cases - this is a result of volume licence rules which may or may not apply - this if not corrected could leave the system unlicensed after a time, anything up to 90 days from last connection.
