The User Profile Service Failed to Logon! How do i fix this?

I only have one account on my laptop and whenever i try to logon to it the "The user profile service service failed to logon" message pops up and when i click okay it just restarts again and takes me back to the same screen. I tried looking up a solution online and i found one on microsoft report. I got on from safe mode and attempted to make a new account however when i try to click "Manage another account" nothing happens and nothing pops up. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this?
