Solved unable to type in firefox browser window

Unable to type in firefox browser window or any where in the open window. All else seems to work. Restarted in safe mode. made no difference

Are you able to type text in another application? For example in WordPad, NotePad or even in the rb: Start Menu Search box?

Can you try a different browser? If the problem only exists in Firefox, then you could try resetting or re-installing the browser.

I restarted firefox in safe mode and disabled addons and extensions but no change

That is not the same thing - you could perform a Clean Boot, and if no luck then try my earlier suggestions.

You only need complete STEP 1, to check if there is any conflict caused by system startup.

I deleted and reloaded a fresh firefox and that solved my problem. Thanks Ik022 for your help
