Trying to update to Windows 7 SP1 for a while, but I always get the Error Code 80073701

sfc /scannow doesn't fix the problem, nor can detect any problems.

Thinking that Avast was causing the problem as noted by a previous CheckSUR, I uninstalled it and ran SURT.
What's puzzling me is that avast is still mentioned as a manifest problem.

Can you guys help?

Hi, SkyTrizero,

Need ISO, here: TechBench
All editions ( pro, home premium, etc ) can be made available from any windows 7 iso - either by removing the ei.cfg file from the sources folder, or by using eicfg_removal_utility.zip

You can burn ISO to disk with ImgBurn
or burn ISO to USB with Rufus or Rufus portable

Thanks for answering, Snick.
I've followed some of those links as well as remembered to properly remove avast from my system, then ran the System Update Readiness Tool. Thankfully, no more problems were detected. sfc /scannow also seems to have no problems. To be extra sure, I did a chkdsk to find no errors.
As I try to update another time, it seems I still have the Error Code 80073701. Using the Windows Update Troubleshooter, it seems that I still have "Windows Update error 0x80070057" not fixed. Could I have further assistance on this matter?
