Unexpected Shut Down - BSOD :(

Yep, restore the system, then follow what I said, remove all trace of old version of catalyst utility before installing new one. ALso, check out manufacture's website of your computer to check for the driver. The most important thing is directx (as we mentioned earlier). Therefore, focus on directx first.

WHOOO HOOO! It looks like un-installing the old drivers an software did the trick, both directX an graphic drivers are completely installed with no problems, i got my screen resolution back i re-downloaded a fresh copy of the graphics suite an use that instead of the old one, once again you've pull through for me, thank you so much (Both of you), but once again i may call on you again about this BSOD, the first installation i did with the graphics up-date, it did it again right in the middle of the installation, any ideas?

I'm thinking that the graphics card itself could possibly have a fault, or maybe it's loose in the PCI port

Could you upload the .dmp of when you got a blue screen during the installation?

It's not a prob

If everything is updated now, direct x and graphics drivers, then your system should be fine

However, please post back and let us know if you receive a blue screen again
