Solved Universal installer

it would be nice, if somebody can develop universal installer ie one installer which install all the free and open source software like

all 5 browsers ie chrome, IE, FF, Safari, Opera
adobe flash
adobe acrobat reader
VLC
Open office
skype
avg anitvirus
winrar
printer/scaner drivers
wordweb free dictionary
etc

yesterday my friend wifi adapter stopped working and i had to reinstall win7 on his laptop, it took me 5 hours to install all the software plus ms office 2007 except open office, opera and FF, Safari

A number of problems with this:
1. Who chooses which applications? Most members of this forum would have a different list.
2. There are a number of difficult technical problems. Creating an installer for multiple applications is problematic at best.
3. I am sure that most of the producers of these applications would object and consider it illegal.

Not going to happen.

Otherwise, what derekimo suggested is a great option as well if you have a fresh installation (and don't want to do the above) with the programs you want to install all in a simple manner.
