Try the VIA driver I linked. The Ven-Dev show it as the VIA chip.

I just noticed on the the link to your MB that V5 went to the VIA VL605 chip that I linked.

Gigabyte changed the hardware on the MB when they went from ver 4.1 to ver 5 and you may just have a ver 5 board.

It is a totally different Driver that would explain things

When you get some time take a look at the MB and see if it shows the Rev #. Should be stenciled next to the board name.

If you type CMD in at the start and paste the following >>>> wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber ... That way can help some times
